How to repair track damage of single beam crane

During the regular inspection process of Shandong single beam crane manufacturers, it is often found that the steel track flanges have varying degrees of wear and damage, which poses safety hazards to the users and has a certain impact on the production of the enterprise. Therefore, the exploration of the damage and repair of the running track of the single beam crane trolley is of great practical significance.

1. Requirements for track use and contents of track inspection:

The track should be straight, with a gap of 1-2mm (in summer) or 3-5mm (in winter) between the joints of the two tracks. The misalignment of the joints should not exceed 1mm, and the joints should be flat and firmly pressed. There should be no twisting or swinging during walking or braking.

The main contents of track inspection include:

① Check the rails, bolts, and fishplates for cracks, looseness, and corrosion. If cracks are found, they should be replaced in a timely manner, and other defects should be repaired in a timely manner;

② Track adjustment should comply with its relevant technical standards;

③ The track should be regularly maintained.

2. The track has been damaged to the following extent and should be scrapped and replaced.

(1) When cracks appear on the track (cracks on the rail can be inspected with a track flaw detector, transverse cracks can be connected with fishplates, and diagonal or longitudinal cracks require replacement of the track), or when the wear on the top and side of the track (on one side) exceeds 3mm, it should be scrapped.

(2) When the track has defects such as fatigue cracking and fatigue peeling.

(3) Local lateral plastic deformation or local twisting of the track can affect the normal operation of the crane, such as severe track gnawing, deviation, and snaking.

(4) When using a pressure plate fixing device to fix the track, if the fixed position of the track moves laterally and cannot be reliably and firmly fixed after repair.

(5) When welding connections or welding pressure plate devices are used to fix the track, if there are cracks or welding damage in the fixed connection weld, it should be repaired by welding. If the purpose of repairing welding is lost, it should be repaired.

(6) Check for cracks in the track clamp or fishplate.
