Precautions for operating a single beam crane
In the operation of single beam cranes, there are some precautions that need to be taken to better ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Below, the editor of Shandong single beam crane manufacturer summarizes the precautions for operating single beam cranes.
1. When using a single beam crane, the lifted object must not stay in the air for a long time.
2. When operating a single beam crane, it is important to check all lifting tools to ensure their integrity and good condition. If the crane operator has defects, they cannot carry out crane work.
3. Similarly, it is necessary to check the condition of the ropes and confirm that they are secure, not loose or broken. If an object with edges is bound, a protective object needs to be added between the object and the rope to prevent the rope from breaking.
4. When lifting objects, do not be too hasty and wait for a moment until the goods are stable before continuing. It is prohibited to place debris or stand on heavy objects. During lifting, no unrelated personnel are allowed to pass underneath the object.
5. It should be noted that the Z-center of the heavy object should be accurately located and there should be no diagonal pulling phenomenon. When handling special lifting objects, the crane requires personnel to operate from the side.
6. The safety measures for work should be improved, such as wearing safety helmets, having professional personnel to provide unified command, coordinating work among departments, and checking the safety of steel wire ropes and other components when objects are off the ground. If it is not safe, stop the machine for inspection.
